FAQ :)

-
How will we be receiving our images? No matter which package you pick, you’ll get a Pic-Time digital gallery with all your final edited photos—plus download and printing rights. The gallery is linked to a print shop, so ordering copies is a breeze. Shoot me a message to hear more about what’s included!
-
Do you release any RAW images? No, RAW images are for my eyes only— think of them as half-baked. Editing is where the magic happens to craft a gallery that truly reflects your session or wedding day! For the same reason, editing over the final images isn’t allowed. When you hire me, you’re choosing my full creative process—trust me to bring your photos to life! :)
-
Do you shoot film and digital? For weddings, I love experimenting with film as a fun, complementary touch, though digital is the main affair! If you're tying the knot near Boise, Idaho, I also can team up with some of my favorite film photographers. So, if you'd like a dedicated film shooter alongside me on your big day, just ask—I’d be happy to share more details!
-
When should we expect our images?Galleries can be expected within 4 weeks for regular sessions and between 6-8 weeks for weddings and elopements. I also will send sneak peeks within 3 days of working together!
-
What is required of me to get on your schedule?Once we have chosen a date or package depending on your desired coverage type, I will get you secured in the books by having you pay a 15% non-refundable deposit and sign a contract outlining expectations.

How hands-on is your wedding photography process?I’m honored to capture your most special memories, and I love being hands-on in the planning process! From day one, send me all your inspo (I love a good Pin board), and I can share vendor recs or creative advice—florals, stationery, you name it. With a B.F.A. in my back pocket, bringing all artistic visions to life is a side quest I always enjoy!! 2-4 months before your wedding or elopement, we’ll fine-tune details—family shot lists, timelines, and final inspo—through virtual or in-person chats. Solid planning means less stress, so you can be fully present with your loved ones at your event! Day-of I take a documentary approach, letting real moments unfold. The most emotional images are truly the ones taken in a burst of spontaneity. But for formals (couples, bridal party,+family pics) I’m always ready to jump in with posing ideas and keep things running as smooth as humanly possible!

Will you share outfit and location recommendations for our session?100% YES. I am a huge location lover and have an extensively large bank of knowledge on the best places to shoot in CA and ID, as well as touching into OR and WA. I have two super detailed, intentional guides that I will send to you before our shoot that cover both of these topics! :)
-
Where are you based out of and are you open to travel?I am primarily based out of both Boise, ID. and Folsom, CA., and also extend comfortably into the entire PNW, but I am open to traveling wherever you'd like me to photograph you and your story!!
-
What do you do that my friend with a point and shoot might not?Loaded question, right? Technology can be unpredictable, but having someone who’s prepped for whatever comes their way is crucial—especially when it comes to something as sacred as your wedding day or graduation portraits. I shoot with two SD cards for instant backups, and as soon as I’m home, your images go onto two separate hard drives. For weddings, I bring two professional Canon DSLRs in case of a glitch, plus multiple lenses, just in case. With a Photography degree from Cal Poly SLO, you can also trust that I know how to handle tricky lighting, and embrace whatever weather comes our way so long as it's feasible—rain, snow, clouds, etcetera. Got more questions? Hit me up anytime!
-
Do you offer family or maternity sessions?Unfortunately, I have recently niched-down and am no longer offering maternity or family sessions. Since I have very limited experience in these areas, I do not feel comfortable providing a service in which I don't think I could give you the absolute best for your investment! However, I deeply appreciate your interest and consideration! :)
-
Do you offer add-ons for weddings?Totally! I offer all of these (and more!) for an additional fee: day-before coverage (rehearsal dinner, date night, etc.), day-after coverage (bridals, brunch, etc.), a second shooter (digital or film), and BTS iPhone footage. If there’s something specific you have in mind, just ask—I’m always open to making it happen!
-
How would you describe what our experience would look and feel like in one sentence? You can expect to feel guided and hopefully understood leading up, and your gallery to feel whimsical, immersive, candid, and adventurous with a funky and colorful flair. :))
